Serbia, Lithuania and The Hague.
I have been a practicing artist, printmaker and designer, exhibiting widely, for example in the Royal Academy, Limerick City Hall, Birmingham Artist Group, Cartwright Hall Bradford, University of Bradford, South Square Thornton, Bradford Yorkshire Craft Centre. I have commercial outlets, for example Zillah Bell in Thirsk.
My book “Colonsay-Elements of an Island” House of Lochar (2003), was a successful publication of photography. I work primarily with the subject of landscape, locally within the Dales, Scotland (Hebrides), Ireland and Devonshire. I produce editions of prints (etchings) and mixed media paintings and drawings. My etching plates are worked ‘on-site’ and I utilize the West Yorkshire Print workshop in Mirfield, for editioning my prints.
I have recently established a studio space in Ilkley, which fuctions both as a workspace and showcase for my current practice.
I am still very much involved in a role as tutor and engagement with education.
I also combine research with my practice, specifically publishing, artists books and related study (issues of student literacy).
