I go through a process of drawing on screen with a palette limited by my photographs I extract the structure and form, add texture and a three- dimensional quality to my images. Inspired by my local area on the edge of the Dales, ‘Lane and Towpath’ are images inspired by the wild plants and architectural history of a short stretch of ancient lane running alongside the Leeds-Liverpool canal, framed and mounted limited edition prints, combining botanical studies with natural disintegration.

Hand stitched artist books – using limited edition print covers, folded, stitched pages and pockets of watercolour paper. Completed books capturing the essence of the lane or canal using collage, mixed media, print and found objects. Blank books to create your own memories.

Limited edition greeting cards- botanical studies, detailed yet fragile images emerging from the textured board. Presented as individual cards or in themed wallets.

‘Close-Ups’ – intimate, close cropped portraits of wild and domestic animals, seen whilst walking the lane and towpath. Framed and mounted prints, books and cards.

Latest additions to the collection are images with a retro feel, spots and candy stripes as a backdrop to the new botanical drawings.
