Flick works mostly in silver with semi-precious stones, also 18ct gold . She specializes in etching and oxidizing the silver to create surface patterns on a variety of work including earrings, necklaces, bangles, rings and cufflinks.
Much of her inspiration comes directly from nature, but also from museum objects and Japanese art.
Over 20 years ago a move to Yorkshire triggered a change from designing for the textile industry to designing and making jewellery.
Flick’s work has sold in many different galleries including Leeds Craft and Design Gallery, Sheffield’s Millenium Gallery and currently at Art Parade Saltaire, Moxon&Simm Pateley Bridge and Heart Gallery Hebden Bridge.
She has taken part in The Ilkley Art Trail 2011 & 2012 and the first Staithes Festival of Arts and Heritage 2012.
