Formerly an illustrator, then art teacher, current interests are now traditional ‘Fine Art’  themes of: portraiture, landscape, interiors, still life.
Bold representational work, mainly in oils – sometimes in other media; reveal essential qualities of materials used and the presence of the artist’s hand in directly interpreting the significance of observations, capturing characteristics, sense of place or mood.
