My work represents a series of coincidental or fateful moments woven together. Questioning my surroundings from a distance allows me to reflect upon such fleeting observations. I don’t understand everything I create. I create as a means to understand.
For me the audience is integral to any artistic endeavour, it’s important that they are allowed to participate and bring experiences and questioning to any work I create.
I have been exhibited worldwide, including some prestigious London galleries, like the Proud Galleries (The Strand, WC1), Mall Galleries (The Mall, SW1) and Gallery 27 (Cork Street, Mayfair).
As a freelance photographer of nearly 10 years I enjoy working on a variety of projects, counting companies like Coca Cola and M&S among my clients, as well as many public sector organisations.
Recent awards include a Commendation for International Garden Photographer of the Year (2014), Vantage Art Prize finalist (2013), Sheffield Photographic Open winner (2012), Renaissance Photography Awards finalist (2012) and Lumen Arts Prize shortlisted finalist (2012).
